Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Facelessly (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.

2. The Service

Facelessly lets you generate short-form videos using third-party AI models, transcribe and clip longer videos into vertical Shorts, and optionally publish them to connected social accounts. AI output may be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to output generated for others; you are responsible for reviewing content before using or publishing it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, or publish content that:

  • is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or sexually exploitative;
  • impersonates a real person, or uses someone’s likeness or a public figure without rights to do so;
  • violates the content policies of the underlying AI providers or of any platform you publish to; or
  • attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

4. Credits, plans & billing

  • Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe until cancelled. Credit top-up packs are one-time purchases.
  • Credits are consumed per generation/export based on the model, length, and options chosen, and plan credits refresh each billing cycle.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments and used credits are non-refundable.

5. Content ownership

As between you and us, you retain rights to the prompts and source media you provide and, to the extent permitted by the underlying AI providers’ terms, to the videos you generate. You grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely to operate and provide the Service.

6. Third-party platforms

When you connect and publish to YouTube, TikTok, or other platforms, you are responsible for complying with their terms and community guidelines. Those platforms are independent services we do not control, and your connection is authorized through their official OAuth flows.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet your requirements.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Facelessly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
